In Case You Missed It: WV Cashin has a Recycling Rewards Program for customers to earn points to redeem for pretty cool prizes. It’s a win-win-win. Customers can get rid of scraps, go home with cash, and eventually earn rewards for doing so? It doesn’t get much better than that!

You earn 1 point for every:

• 10 pounds of aluminum
• 5 pounds of brass
• 3 pounds of copper
• 10 pounds of lead
• 10 pounds of stainless steel
• 100 pounds of steel
• 5 pounds of wire

Here’s what this looks like:

Around your property, you find 10 pounds of old brass doorknobs, faucets, and light fixtures. That’s 2 points!

In the shed, you come across an old, banged-up set of stainless steel cookware– past the point of repair. This stuff is heavy– 20 pounds altogether. There’s another 2 points.

Bring these items to WV Cashin, and this dropoff has earned you 5 points (in addition to the cash you made.) Now you’re on your way to Level 1, which is 500 points.

Heavier items will be worth more, but hopefully, this paints a picture that your items are not only worth cash; you earn points for bringing them to us!
