Warehouse Laborer
WV Cashin Recyclables is looking for a Warehouse Laborer. The position is day shift with a primary work schedule of Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm. Candidates must be team players and work well with others. Attention to safe operation of equipment is a must. The individual should have experience operating heavy machinery. The pay scale is commensurate with experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
Warehouse Laborer
Location: Nitro, West Virginia
West Virginia Cashin Recyclables is seeking motivated candidates for a Warehouse Laborer position at our Nitro facility. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly learn to identify and sort materials, and safely operate warehouse equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently identify and sort materials.
- Operate a chop saw and downstroke baler.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment by following all company and legal safety procedures.
- Keep all required OSHA certifications up to date.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in the scrap materials recycling industry is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Pre-employment drug screening required.
