Cable Recycling Operator
We are seeking a hardworking and qualified candidate for Cable Recycling Equipment Operator at our Nitro, WV facility. Provide accurate and complete records for specific tasks daily. Attention to detail and ability to make adjustments needed to maximize the output of the granulation system. Applicant must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to sort, grade and prepare materials for shipment. The person best suited for this position will have a good understanding of mechanical operations. Responsibilities/Duties
• Operation of a cable recycling plant in an efficient manor.
• Report daily records to management
• Sort, grade, process, and package material.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and
procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Maintain all certifications required by OSHA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalency. Knowledge of the scrap materials recycling industry is a
plus. Must operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times. Ability to
communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and customers. Ability to work independently. Pre-employment drug screening.
